Accra Hearts of Oak newly-signed midfielder, Malik Akowuah has revealed that he joined the club to feature in the CAF Champions League.
The 26-year-old joined the Rainbow club on a three-year deal from Medeama for an undisclosed fee.
According to the former AshantiGold SC enforcer, he decided to play for the Phobia lads because of the continental competition.
“I have played in the Confederation Cup but never played for a club in the Champions league” he told Asempa FM
“Before joining them [Hearts of Oak], I saw that with the crop of players there, they can win the Ghana Premier League”
He concluded “I opted for Hearts of Oak because of the CAF Champions league”
