Minister Ohemaa Mercy And Mr Isaac Twum-Ampofo
The veteran worshiper in an exclusive interview on Power FM disclosed that she has had thoughts of walking out of her marriage (filing for divorce) several times before.
Her reason for wanting to leave the marriage got triggered when her husband Isaac Twum-Ampofo passed a comment about her costumier when they (herself and costumier) were about leaving for a program and she got her seriously pissed off.
According to her, at that instance, the only thought that came to mind was for her to file for divorce and peacefully walk out of the marriage because she couldn’t bear the sight anymore.
Narrating her experience on live radio, the celebrated gospel musician said, she took to fervent prayers when that negative thought of divorce kept coming like water flowing from a hill.
“Prayer answers everything and I believe this is what has helped us so far. Although we fight we are able to resolve our differences,” she said.
In her closing statements about her marital issue, Ohemaa Mercy accepted the fact that her lovely husband has been very supportive of her through thick and thin.
She advised married women to keep to prayer, trust their husbands and also support them even though circumstances in marriage can plant some bad intentions in your mind like divorce.
