Ghana skipper, Asamoah Gyan can’t wait to watch the highly anticipated upcoming Anas Aremeyaw Anas exposé centred on corruption in politics and football.
There is an uneasy calm within people in the football fraternity since Tiger Eye PI team announced they will focus their attention on football due to the suspicion of pervasive corruption in that sector.
However, the Kayserispor forward maintains he will be shocked if the undercover journalist’s latest investigative piece is able to actually uncover rot in Ghana Football because he is yet to come across it himself.
The former Sunderland man nonetheless insists he is eager to see the revelations by Anas when his newest documentary titled ‘Number 12? is premiered in Accra and other selected cities in Ghana on June 6.
“As the captain of the Black Stars, I’m interested in the video and will make time to watch it if only I’m in Ghana. I will be very shocked if it comes out clear that there is corruption in our game (Ghana football),” Gyan told Hot FM.
“This is because throughout my career I have not come across such an issue to date so we’re all waiting,” he added.
